WELCOME to my website about Psychotherapy and Counselling. I hope that reading these pages will help you understand what psychotherapy and counselling is, who it is for, how it 'works' and what can be expected. This in turn may help you decide whether counselling or psychotherapy is for you.

My name is Anna Wanless and I am a fully accredited and UKCP registered Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor, and an Integrative Supervisor, working privately in Berkhamsted, within easy reach of Aylesbury, Hemel Hempstead, Chesham and Watford. I am located close to the borders of Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire, thus within easy reach from neighbouring towns in these three counties.

I have been practising psychotherapy and counselling for the past 24 years.I am committed to providing this in a confidential, safe and non-judgemental environment. I offer a quiet and non-judgemental space in which you can expect me to listen attentively and to respond with empathy and depth.

I work with individuals from the age of 16 upwards, on an open-ended basis or for an agreed period of time. I am experienced in working with people who have experienced difficulties with:

Supervision

I offer individual and group supervision for practitioners of all abilities. I am experienced in supervising practitioners working with different theoretical models.

Currently, fortnightly Group Supervision spaces are available on Tuesdays 1-3PM and
on Thursdays 12-2PM.

I also offer group and individual supervision to counsellors working with clients presenting with adoption experience.


Fees

The fee for a first interview may differ from the fee for further sessions. This will be agreed at the first meeting(see FAQ).

NEW FOR 2012:
Saturday sessions are now available between 9AM and 1PM

Amersham, Aylesbury, Chesham, Hemel Hempstead, Leighton Buzzard, Rickmansworth, St.Albans, Tring, Watford and Wycombe and surrounding villages are all within easy reach.
